You've been invited to the Pickup Pals driver app. Follow these steps to create your account and add the app to your phone's home screen.

Open your invite email
Michael sent you an email from accounts@pickuppals.com.au. Check your inbox (and spam just in case).

Find the email
Look for an email with the subject line "Michael invited you to the Pickup Pals driver app". It comes from accounts@pickuppals.com.au.
Not there? Check your Spam or Junk folder.

Tap "Create your password"
Hit the orange button inside the email. It'll open the Pickup Pals driver app in your browser and ask you to create a password.

Create your password
Choose a password at least 8 characters long. Tap "Set password & get started". You're in.
The invite link expires after 24 hours — if it doesn't work, ask Michael to resend it.
Add to your home screen
The Pickup Pals driver app works like a native app — add it to your home screen and it'll open full-screen, just like any other app.

Open the app link in Safari (not Chrome or another browser)

Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing up ⬆

Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

Tap "Add" in the top right corner. Done — the app appears on your home screen.
Must use Safari. Chrome on iPhone doesn't support "Add to Home Screen" properly.

Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right of Chrome

Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install App"

Tap "Add" or "Install". The Pickup Pals icon will appear on your home screen.
Chrome is recommended. If you see "Install App" in the URL bar, tap that instead — it's quicker.
Log in every day
Open Pickup Pals from your home screen. You'll stay logged in automatically — only need to sign in again if you log out or switch phones.

Your login details

Your username is the email address Michael sent the invite to. Your password is the one you just created. Keep these safe — don't share them with anyone.

Open the app from your home screen
Tap the Pickup Pals icon. If you're already logged in, you'll go straight to your jobs. If not, you'll see the login screen.

Enter your email & password
Use the email Michael invited you with and the password you set in Step 1. Tap "Sign in".

You're in — check your jobs
Your jobs for today will load automatically. Use the arrow buttons to check other dates. Tap a job to mark it complete, add notes, or take a photo.
Common questions
Something not working? Here are the most common fixes.
My invite link isn't working or says "expired"
Invite links expire after 24 hours. Ask Michael to go to Team → find your name → tap the send icon to resend the invite. Takes 2 seconds.
I can't see "Add to Home Screen" on my iPhone
You must be using Safari, not Chrome or another browser. Open Safari, go to pickup-pals-ops.pages.dev/driver.html, then try again — the Share button is at the bottom of the Safari screen.
I forgot my password
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You'll get a reset link within a minute. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive.
The app isn't loading or is showing an old version
If you added the app to your home screen, close it fully and reopen. If the issue persists, open it in Safari/Chrome and do a hard refresh by holding the reload button. Your data is synced — nothing will be lost.
I'm not seeing my jobs for today
Check the date at the top of the screen — use the arrow buttons to navigate if needed. If jobs are genuinely missing, contact Michael at 0434 411 372.

How to use
the driver app.

Everything you need to know to get through a day — HN deliveries, private jobs, messaging customers, and submitting your day sheet.

Starting your day
Open the app, check your jobs, get moving

Open Pickup Pals from your home screen
Tap the Pickup Pals icon. Your jobs for today load automatically. You'll see each stop listed in run order — the app shows you where to go and in what sequence.

Check the date
The date is shown at the top with ‹ › arrows to move between days. Make sure you're on today's date — the Today chip will be highlighted orange if you are.

Tap a job to expand it
Each job card shows the customer name, address, and time. Tap the card to open the full detail — address, items, notes, and the buttons to mark it complete.
The progress bar at the top updates as you tick off jobs — it shows X / Total completed.

The only difference is the Area Driven field at end of day
Everything else in the app works the same — jobs, completion, messaging, photos. Just make sure you pick the right area when submitting your day sheet so payroll is calculated correctly.

Warehouse Run — load up at 108 Quanda Rd
Your first job is always an HN Warehouse Run. Tap it to see the full manifest — who's getting what, in run order. Use it to load the ute in reverse order (last delivery on the bottom). Once loaded and you've departed, tap "✓ Loaded & Departed".
You can tap "📬 Send customer arrival windows" to SMS all customers their estimated delivery windows at once — do this after loading.

Work through each delivery in order
Tap the next job in the list to see the customer's address and items. Tap the address to open it in Google Maps. The items list shows exactly what you're delivering.

Let the customer know you're on the way
Tap "Notify I am on my way" and choose how many minutes away you are — 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 45. The customer gets an SMS automatically. The app remembers you sent it so you can't double-up.

Complete the delivery — tap "✓ Delivery Confirmed"
After delivering, tap the orange button. A completion sheet slides up:
1. How did it go?
Tap "✓ All good" or "⚠ Had an issue". Required before you can confirm.
2. Add-ons
Any pre-loaded add-ons (stair access, assembly, etc.) are ticked automatically. Untick any that didn't apply. Tap "+ Add extra charge" to add anything that came up on the day.
3. Notes (optional)
Add any notes — access issues, customer feedback, anything worth recording.
If a customer messages you via the app, a message box appears on the job card. Tap it to read and reply.

HN Store Pickup (if on your run)
If any items were at the HN store at 7 Gibson Rd Noosaville, there'll be an HN Store Pickup job on your list. Head there, collect the items, and mark it complete. It works the same as any other stop.

Open the job to see the full details
Tap the job card to see pickup address, drop-off address, items, customer phone, and booking notes. Tap either address to open Maps. Tap the customer phone number to call.

Record how the customer paid
Tap the payment method — 💵 Cash, 💳 Eftpos, or 📧 Invoice. You can split across multiple methods if needed — tap more than one and enter each amount. The "Remaining" counter shows if anything's left to allocate.

Tip runs — record the tip fee & photograph the receipt
For junk removal or tip jobs, a Tip Fees section appears. Select 💵 Cash, 📧 Invoice, or ✓ No Fee. If there's a fee, enter the amount and tap "📷 Photograph receipt" to capture the tip receipt with your camera. It uploads automatically.
Always photograph the tip receipt — it's required before you can mark the job complete.

Tap "✓ Job Done"
Once payment is recorded, tap the button. If cash was collected, the app asks who collected it — enter your name and it sends the customer a receipt SMS. Then you can add any driver notes before moving to the next job.

Submit your day sheet — takes 2 minutes
When does the button appear?
The black "📋 End of Day" button appears at the bottom of the job list once you've completed at least one job. Tap it when you're done for the day.

Review your day summary
The EOD sheet opens with a summary of all your jobs, payments, and any flags. Check nothing's missing — any jobs without payment recorded will show as issues.

Complete all the required fields:

Tick the cash declaration (if you collected cash)
If any jobs were paid in cash, you'll see a checkbox: "I confirm I have collected $X.XX cash today and have verified I have this amount." Tick it to confirm.

Wednesdays & Fridays: bank deposit required
On these two days, any cash you're holding that hasn't already been deposited must go to the bank before you submit. Here's the full process:

Open Cash on Hand — tap the $ button in the top-right of the app at any time during the day. You'll see the ANZ bank details and exactly which jobs you're holding cash for.

Deposit at ANZ — go to any ANZ branch or ATM and deposit the cash. Bank details are shown in the app: BSB 013 017 · Account 156 814 764 · Pickup Pals. Use your first name + date as the reference (e.g. JOEL-2026-07-02).

Declare in the app — tap "I deposited these jobs" in Cash on Hand, select the jobs, and upload a photo of the deposit receipt. This clears those jobs from your outstanding cash.

Submit EOD as normal — if you've already declared the deposit via Cash on Hand, the EOD deposit section will only show any remaining cash you haven't handled yet. Tick and confirm, then submit.
The app won't let you submit on Wed/Fri until all outstanding cash is accounted for — either declared via Cash on Hand earlier, or confirmed in the EOD deposit section.

Tap "Submit Day Sheet"
The orange button at the bottom sends everything off. You'll see "✓ Day Sheet Submitted" in green. That's you done — have a good night.
Submit before you leave the area — the form only saves on submission, not automatically.
💵 Cash on Hand — available any time
The $ button in the top-right of the app shows all the cash you're currently holding. It updates live as jobs are completed. You can declare a deposit or transfer cash to another team member at any point during the day — you don't have to wait until EOD. The bank details and your personalised reference are shown right there in the panel.

Tap "Report an issue" at the bottom of any job card
📵 No signal? No problem.
If you lose connection mid-day, the app queues your updates and syncs automatically when you're back online. An offline banner shows how many changes are waiting. Don't close the app — it needs to be open to sync.
↩ Made a mistake? Undo it.
Completed a job by accident? Tap the small "Undo" link on the completed job card to revert it back to pending. You can then re-complete it correctly.
🔄 Refresh if something looks off.
Tap the ↻ refresh button (bottom-right circle) to pull the latest jobs from the server. Useful if Michael adds or changes a job mid-day.
💬 Customer messaging is in the job card.
For HN deliveries, if a customer replies to your arrival SMS, a message box appears on their job card highlighted in orange. Tap it to read and reply — you never need to leave the app.
⚠️ Problem with a job? Flag it.
If something goes wrong — damage, customer refused delivery, access issue — tap the "Report an issue" button at the bottom of that job card. Write a quick description, attach a photo if you can, then hit Submit. Michael gets notified straight away. Don't leave it until EOD — flag it while you're still at the address.
📵 App won't load?
Try these in order:
  1. Hard-refresh: close the app tab fully and reopen it
  2. Check mobile data is on — the app needs a connection to load jobs
  3. Open settings.pickuppals.com.au and tap "Test connection" — if it errors, the server may be down
  4. If you see a white screen with no content, try clearing your browser cache (Safari: Settings → Safari → Clear History)
  5. Still broken? Call Michael on 0434 411 372 — use the paper run sheet as a backup for the day
